• Develop the Retail & SME business in APAC, identify opportunities, lead sales efforts, and manage and develop client relationships.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients by developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Produce solutions to complex problems demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the subject matter and an ability to think independently and communicate such concisely.
• Lead the proposal development process, including RFP responses, pitch presentations, and pricing strategies.
• Conduct market and trend analyses to support the business identifying strategic opportunities for growth.
• Act as a thought leader and define business development and marketing activities in the region. Collaborate with practice leads to align business development efforts with the firm's capabilities.
• Maintain and develop industry knowledge to keep a breadth of client needs and proactively recommend new and innovative solutions.
• Mentor consultants and senior consultants to increase their industry specific knowledge and practical experiences.

About you:

• Educated to bachelor's degree level from a reputable university, while ideally holding an advanced degree (MA, MSc, or MBA).
• A minimum of 8 years' experience within the banking industry at a management consulting firm, or management function within a financial firm with long-term exposure to project delivery.
• Evidence of sales efforts and project acquisition by leading activities or supporting senior management.
• Strong network within the financial services industry.
• Deep understanding of the retail and SME banking sector, including industry trends, competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, and emerging opportunities.
• Experience in working with retail and SME banks to develop tailored consulting solutions that address key challenges such as digital transformation, customer acquisition, risk management, operational efficiency, and so on.
• A detailed understanding of the opportunities and dependencies both business and technology play in a client's organisation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels internally and with client teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, managing teams across projects or workstreams.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative skills with the ability to identify complex problems, consider them analytically and conceptualize solutions.
• Impeccable communication, presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to navigate and influence senior stakeholders.
