URGENT: Quality Inspector/ NDT Inspector - multiple openings each
Job summary
A recruitment firm is looking for a Quality Inspector in Singapore. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough inspections of materials, perform non-destructive testing, and maintain accurate records of inspection activities. Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, relevant certifications, and a strong understanding of quality control principles. Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Quality Inspector or NDT Inspector.
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Relevant certifications like ISO 9001, ASNT, or CSWIP.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of materials and finished products.
- Perform non-destructive testing to assess integrity.
- Document and report inspection findings.
Skills
Education
- Conducting thorough inspections of materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Performing non‑destructive testing (NDT) to assess the integrity and soundness of structures, components, and materials
- Documenting and reporting inspection findings, including any defects or deviations from established quality control procedures
- Collaborating with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner
- Maintaining accurate records of all inspection activities and test results
- Continuously seeking ways to improve inspection processes and quality control measures
- Nitec in Precision Engineering / Mechanical or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector or NDT Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Proficient in the use of various NDT techniques, such as Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, and Eddy Current inspections
- Experienced with CMM operation and programming is an advantage
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Relevant certifications, such as ISO 9001, ASNT, or CSWIP, would be an advantage
