Job summary
A learning organization in Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic individual to assist Class Teachers with various classroom activities. The ideal candidate should have qualifications in Early Childhood Education and experience working with children aged 6 months to 3 years. This role involves preparing resources and ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Candidates should be energetic, passionate, and possess good communication skills.
Qualifications
- Fresh Diploma graduates from Early Childhood Education / Theatre / Performance background welcome.
- Experience with children ages 6 months to 3 years is an advantage.
- Able to play a musical instrument preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist Class Teacher in all classroom activities.
- Prepare resources for classes.
- Create a nurturing and happy learning environment.
Skills
Education
- Assist Class Teacher in all classroom activities
- Prepare resources for classes
- Work together with Class Teacher to create a warm, nurturing and happy learning environment for the children
- Ensure that the environment is clean, safe and conducive
- Attend in–house and on-the-job training for various programmes
- ‘O’ levels / ‘A’ levels / Diploma / Certificate in Early Childhood Education
- Fresh Diploma graduates from Early Childhood Education / Theatre / Performance background
- Experience working with children ages between 6 months to 3 years will be an advantage
- Experience working with children in entertainment industries such as Universal Studios, Zoo, Gym, hosting children’s parties will be desirable
- Able to play a musical instrument preferred
- Love and enjoy working with children between ages 6 months to 3 years and/or 3 years to 6 years.
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Willing to learn and grow
- Energetic, passionate and a good team player
