Qualifications

Are you a dedicated social worker, educator, or storyteller with a passion for empowering young minds? Do you have a knack for creative storytelling and a desire to make a positive impact on early childhood education? We’re excited to hear from you!

About Us

Chess at Three is a US/New York-based early education company that has recently expanded to Singapore. We offer innovative educational programs that combine storytelling, chess, and creative play to foster critical thinking, creativity, and social skills in children aged 6 months to 11 years.

Our Programs

Chess at Three: Introduces chess to children as young as three through engaging stories and games.

Birchguard Quest: A speech and drama program that develops creativity, collaboration, and leadership skills.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking enthusiastic educators to teach our programs at our United Square club and in schools. You’ll work with small groups of children aged 3-10, using our award-winning curriculum. While chess experience is helpful, it’s not required - we’ll provide comprehensive training and pair you with an experienced tutor.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Chess at Three programs at United Square club and in schools.
  • Work with small groups of children aged 3-10, using the award-winning curriculum.
  • Participate in comprehensive training and be paired with an experienced tutor.
Qualifications
  • Passion for early childhood education and storytelling
  • Experience in social work, education, or a related field
  • Fun, animated, and great with children
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Thorough background check required
Compensation
  • S$25/hr for training/shadowing lessons
  • S$40/hr for teaching lessons
  • Part Time Employee
Schedule
  • Weekend availability is preferred
