Job summary
A healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a pharmacist to provide safe medication dispensing and comprehensive education to patients. The role requires a Degree in Pharmacy and registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council. Newly registered pharmacists are welcome, with opportunities for those with 3-8 years of clinical practice for senior positions. Join a committed team focused on patient care and medication safety.
Qualifications
- Newly registered pharmacists are welcome to apply.
- Clinical practice experience of at least 3 to 8 years will be considered for senior position.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and accurate medication dispensing and comprehensive medication education to patients and caregivers.
- Perform medication reviews and interventions to prevent drug-related problems.
- Assist in the supervision of pharmacy technicians in routine patient care activities.
- Assist in the clinical education of students and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in research and quality improvement activities.
Education
- Provide safe and accurate medication dispensing and comprehensive medication education to patients and caregivers
- Perform medication reviews and interventions to prevent and/or resolve drug-related problems with appropriate therapeutic recommendations to enable safe and cost-effective medication therapy
- Assist in the supervision of pharmacy technicians/assistants in routine patient care activities in outpatient pharmacy
- Assist in the clinical education of students, trainees, healthcare professionals, and/or pharmacy technicians/assistants
- Participate in research and/or quality improvement activities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- Registered Pharmacist with Singapore Pharmacy Council
- Newly registered pharmacists are welcome to apply
