Our client is in the banking sector, seeking for immediate Corporate Tax candidate who can commit for 6 months.

The incumbent will be involved in daily BAU functions concerning tax matters as well as executing strategies designed for Corporate Tax, GST, Withholding Tax and Transfer Pricing so as to manage tax risks, internal & external filing obligations and deadlines.

• Collaborate with Finance and various business units to ensure accurate preparation and timely submission of the Bank’s tax returns.
• Analyze new and complex banking products to determine their appropriate tax treatment in line with current legislation.
• Address complex and potentially contentious tax matters, including areas of uncertainty within the FSI Regulations.
• Assess the practical application of tax laws in the context of the Bank’s business model and operations.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors to monitor progress and ensure internal deadlines for tax compliance are consistently met.

Requirement:

• Min. Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
• At least 3 year experience in Singapore corporate tax practice experience in reputable accounting firm
• Able to commence work within short notice
