Job summary
A prominent legal services company in Singapore is seeking a Legal Assistant to support the Legal Manager in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts and NDAs. The role involves providing legal advice to internal stakeholders, managing contract milestones, and ensuring compliance with legal obligations. Candidates should have a solid understanding of contract management systems and be adept at handling various legal documentation tasks. This position is crucial for maintaining effective legal processes within the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents like contracts and NDAs.
- Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management.
- Ability to provide legal updates and advice to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Legal Manager by reviewing and drafting legal documents.
- Provide legal advice and updates to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor contract milestones and compliance with contractual obligations.
Skills
- To act as the assistant for the Legal Manager, review and draft day-to-day legal documents such as business-related contracts, NDAs, and other agreements with coordinating the internal stakeholders and relevant regional business units.
- To act as the assistant for the Legal Manager, provide legal advice, updates and awareness to internal stakeholders and relevant regional business units to support the Company’s business.
- Good understanding of workflow for Legal WG especially for contract review and signing, including in-house contract management IT systems, and ensure proper and digitise document archives for the contracts is done in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist in contract lifecycle monitoring by tracking contract milestones, deliverables, renewal dates, expiry timelines, and obligations; and follow up with internal teams to ensure compliance with contractual deadlines and obligations.
- Handle NTT Group related internal/external audits and surveys liaising/coordinating with NTTF stakeholders
- Assist in general administrative and other ad-hoc duties related to legal and compliance matters as assigned by Legal Manager.
