Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer with expertise in SMART 400. The role involves supporting production systems, enhancing Life Asia and Group 400 systems, and coordinating with IT teams. Ideal candidates should have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in relevant technologies and a background in life insurance. Fluent English is required.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years hands-on coding experience in SMART 400 on AS400.
- Sound experience in Life Insurance industry.
- Fluent in English spoken and written.
Responsibilities
- Support Production system of LifeAsia and Integral Group.
- Program enhancements/developments related to Life Asia and/or group 400 system.
- Interact and coordinate efficiently with other IT Sections.
Skills
Education
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer with a Smart400 Life background.
- Support Production system of LifeAsia and Integral Group
- Program enhancements/developments related to Life Asia and/or group 400 system
- Able to interact and coordinate efficiently with other IT Sections and within Core Application Team itself
- Liaise with Web Application Team on Front-end applications on inter-related projects
- Perform system analysis, design and system unit/integration testing
- Prepare/update Technical Specifications and end user system job instructions documents
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Sound experience in Life Insurance industry
- At least 8 years hands-on coding experience in SMART 400 on AS400
- Knowledge of both Life-400 and Group-400 will be an added advantage
- Fluent in English spoken and written language
