As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking an Assistant Manager, Process Quality to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning (CAPA) for production nonconformities.
2. Monitor and analyse quality metrics (FPY, PPM, COPQ) to drive process improvements.
3. Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 9001 and process standards.
4. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Service teams to resolve quality-related issues.
5. Lead zero-hour failure investigations and manage before in-service claims resolution.
6. Oversee technical failure report preparation and final inspection process.
7. Validate and approve genset test reports and supervise customer witness testing.
8. Work with Engineering and R&D teams to define QA test plans for new products.
9. Provide feedback to design teams based on quality test results and field failures.
10. Guide and mentor Quality Engineers and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Production Quality Management.
2. Prior experience in diesel generator sets, heavy machinery, or electrical power systems.
3. Proven leadership experience in managing quality teams and resolving customer claims.
4. Strong knowledge of quality management principles, ISO 9001 standards, and auditing processes.
5. Proficiency in root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and failure analysis.
6. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
