Reporting to the Group Facilities Management institution lead, you will oversee the AirCon Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) and Mechanical System serving the Hospital Premises. This includes working closely with service partners on Preventive Maintenance, Capex Project works, and all contracts managed by the Specialist vendor.

1. Manage the operation, maintenance, modification, and replacement of hospital facilities, M&E services, and non-clinical equipment.
2. Ensure outsourced maintenance agents meet prescribed KPIs and maintain building systems at all times.
3. Audit and monitor maintenance service standards by specialist vendors and outsourced providers to ensure compliance with hospital standards.
4. Support and manage cyclical and improvement projects related to systems and building infrastructure.
5. Oversee outsourced M&E team performance and ensure maintenance standards and planned PM schedules are met.
6. Monitor the performance of outsourced maintenance services for critical hospital systems.
7. Coordinate and oversee system upgrades and improvement projects funded by MOH and AH initiatives.
8. Act as Project Manager for hospital facility improvements, including renovations, retrofitting, and system upgrades.
9. Provide technical advice and support for system failures, troubleshooting, and system replacements.
10. Prepare technical specifications, drawings, cost estimates, and work schedules for projects.
11. Support external consultants and oversee inspections and project handovers for new developments.
12. Ensure safety practices and conduct of outsourced maintenance teams, with attention to infection control and patient safety.
13. Respond promptly to equipment and system breakdowns to minimize service disruptions.
14. Raise work requisitions for breakdowns and replacements.
15. Assist in fire safety, security planning, and preparedness matters.
16. Conduct site inspections and enforce house rules.
17. Support campus infrastructure development projects as needed.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by the HOD.

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related fields.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing M&E services in healthcare.
3. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
4. Hands-on M&E knowledge and experience.
5. Fire Safety Manager/Officer certification or relevant experience is advantageous.
6. Leadership and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
8. Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
9. Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
10. Customer service orientation with a hands-on approach.
11. Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
