Job Responsibilities

• Arrange bookings with shipping lines or carriers for sea freight.

• Coordinate closely with suppliers, customers, and various internal departments and the warehouse team to ensure smooth cargo flow and on-time shipments.

• Prepare and manage all relevant documentation for sea freight shipments, including shipping instructions, customs documents, letter of credit and other required paperwork.

• Arrange timely cargo collections and dispatch based on customer request.

• Monitor sea freight shipments in real-time, providing proactive updates to stakeholders. Address any delays or issues promptly and implement corrective actions including pre-alerts to customers.

• Ensure timely billing and accurate billing processes.

• Attend to and respond on customer’s inquiries in professional and timely manner.

• Maintain open and effective communication with customers regarding shipment status, delays, and any relevant updates. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

Job Requirements and Expectations

• Candidate must possess at least O" Level.
• Preferably with at least 1 year of relevant experience in shipping industry.
• With good knowledge in import and export Sea shipment.
• Knowledge of Letter of Credit Documentations, incoterms, Singapore shipping procedures & freight forwarding experience.
• Knowledge of using PortNet, TradeNet and Invoicing.
• Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Chinese; written and spoken (to effectively communicate with Chinese Counterparts)
• Able to work as a team player, pro‑active, self‑motivated and high sense of responsibility.
• Motivated individual and possesses good planning and follow‑up skills.
• Able to handle high volume of workload in a fast‑paced environment.
• Creative problem‑solving skills.
• Immediate Starter will be an added advantage.
