Job summary
A veterinary clinic in Singapore is looking for new team members. Responsibilities include evaluating admission processes for pets, assisting with anesthesia and care during emergencies, and communicating effectively with clients. Candidates with a Diploma/Degree in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care are encouraged to apply, and entry-level applicants are welcome as training will be provided. The clinic operates a 4-day work week, with a salary range of $3500-$7000 depending on seniority.
Qualifications
- Entry level candidates are welcome; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and facilitate the admission process for new pets/animals.
- Provide support for anesthesia monitoring during emergencies.
- Assist emergency veterinarians with care of hospitalized animals.
- Oversee and monitor critical animals closely.
- Perform radiographic imaging to assist diagnosis.
- Safely restrain animals during exams.
- Prepare patients for surgeries and manage post-operative care.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment.
Education
- Basic $3500-$7000 (Depends on seniority)
- 4 days a week on rotational basis
- Location: Central OR North
- Established and stable Vet hospital/Clinic
- Evaluate and facilitate the admission process for new pets/animals.
- Provide support for anaesthesia monitoring and recovery during emergency situations.
- Assist emergency veterinarians with care and treatment of hospitalized animals.
- Oversee and monitor critical animals closely.
- Perform radiographic imaging to assist diagnosis and treatment.
- Safely restrain animals during exams and treatments.
- Prepare patients for surgeries and manage post-operative care including bandaging and recovery.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients regarding treatment and care.
- Candidate with Diploma/Degree in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care are welcome to apply.
