Job summary
A construction and engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to supervise construction and related works. Responsibilities include maintaining quality control and ensuring adherence to project specifications. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and has at least 8 years of relevant on-site experience. This role offers a chance to impact significant projects in the area.
Qualifications
- Must possess at least 8 years of relevant and practical experience on site.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the construction and related works, maintain quality control.
- Familiarity with M&E system testing and Commissioning (T&C) procedure.
- Check shop and construction drawings, report discrepancies.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports.
Education
- Supervise the construction and related works, maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the project specifications, drawings,
- Shall be familiar with the respective M&E system testing and Commissioning (T&C) procedure and attend T&C and necessary follow up with the Consultant and Contractor;
- Check shop and construction drawings, samples, etc. submitted by contractors and their sub-contractors / suppliers / vendors and to report any discrepancies between these and the project drawings and specifications;
- Prepare daily and weekly reports
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent or accreditation recognized by PEB Singapore
- Possess at least 8 years of relevant and practical experience on site
