  • Provide technical expertise in systems architecture, evaluation, and deployment of infrastructure components including messaging, collaboration, virtualization, security, and remote access technologies.
  • Lead technology evaluations and proof‑of‑concepts to assess new systems or tools for use in secured environments.
  • Define standards for Red Hat, Windows Server, VMware, and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters (RKE2, OpenShift, or equivalent).
  • Configure and manage SAN storage, including LUN provisioning, multipathing, and storage zoning.
  • Implement and maintain Veritas backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.

  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for provisioning, configuration, and compliance enforcement.
  • Apply policy‑as‑code frameworks (OPA, Kyverno, or Ansible Lint) to enforce configuration and security standards.
  • Automate VMware, Kubernetes, and backup operations through integrated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement CIS benchmarks and hardening standards for servers, clusters, and hypervisors.

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing, deploying, and managing complex, secured IT infrastructure systems.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., Microsoft SCOM, CA, Riverbed), including capacity tuning and threshold optimization.
  • Strong, hands‑on foundation in data centre systems, server virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure, system monitoring, backup, and SIEM solutions.
  • Expertise in Windows and Linux server installation, configuration, and administration, including patching, security configuration, and performance tuning.
  • Skilled in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Shell, or Bash for system deployment and configuration.
  • Demonstrated experience in high‑availability (HA) and clustered environments, including virtualization and hyperconverged setups (e.g., VMware vSphere, Nutanix Infrastructure).
  • Experience managing enterprise backup solutions such as Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, or Networker, including troubleshooting backup/recovery disruptions.
  • Familiar with policy‑as‑code, compliance automation, and disaster recovery architecture in regulated environments.
  • Familiar with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for secure application hosting, deployment, and testing.
  • Certified in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), Nutanix (NCP), or equivalent virtualization technologies.
  • Additional certifications such as RHCE, VCP, Veritas Certified Specialist, or Microsoft Server Administrator are advantageous.
