Overall Job Purpose:
Plan, manage, implement, and supervise major development projects.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on major development projects from project inception to handover.
Responsible for design management, project management and coordination throughout the entire project life-cycle.
Develop detailed implementation programme and strategy.
Develop project briefs, requirements, technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts.
Identify project interface issues and collaborate with all interfacing parties to develop effective mitigation measures.
Identify project risks and implement necessary mitigation measures.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and meet specified quality standards.
Demonstrated the ability to work independently and lead project teams.
Manage project team dynamics and assign appropriate tasks to the relevant team members.
Facilitate and organise meetings with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners.
Conduct regular site visit/inspections and to report on quality and progress.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 15 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry.
Registered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering would be an advantage.
Required to have Project Management experience in large scale engineering infrastructure projects and have managed contracts with value of at least S$200 million.
Required to possess Design and/or Design Management experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects or infrastructure projects.
Project Management experience in managing deep underground infrastructure projects would be an advantage.
Posses strong written and communication skill in English and able to engage stakeholders from diverse background.
This is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
