MENCK is currently recruiting Singapore-based Field Service Representatives for worldwide assignments. The successful candidate will ensure work is carried out to the highest standards, adhering to MENCK's and our clients' QHSE requirements. You will handle worldwide service calls, supporting, maintaining, and installing equipment across various industries, including Oil & Gas, Renewables, Deep Water, and Near Shore Construction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide a high quality and cost-effective mechanical repairs, maintenance and planned improvement service to MENCK owned, Customer owned, LMH owned main and supporting equipment
- Carry out a full range of mechanical duties working on various equipment within the workshop and other commissioning sites
- Undertake duties as required including test and inspection, reactive maintenance and installation
- Complete works in accordance with MENCK and other ACTEON OpCo’s specifications and compliance with the relevant legislation and industry best practice
- Complete and sign off worksheets, time sheets, inspection protocols, outgoing protocols and service reports
- Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and Health and Safety procedures as required
- Responsible for the care and condition of workshop equipment and tools. Provide report relating to the safe correct functioning of all equipment immediately advising the line manager of any defects requiring repair or replacement
- Provide widespread support and assistance to workshop team, warehouse/material handling, quality control and project team
- Responsible for their own self-development on a continuous basis
- At all times, carry out their responsibilities with due regard to company policy
- Undertake training as required
- Demonstrate consistent commitment towards targets and goal settings
Requirements:
- Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills in engines and power packs; working knowledge of electrical systems is a plus
- Experience with hydraulic hammers is highly advantageous
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in heavy industry and/or offshore equipment maintenance is preferred
