Computer Engineer jobs in Singapore

• Provide first line technical support for the assigned product lines. Work closely with product marketing to meet assigned principals design win goals and objectives. Interact with customers R&D engineers to promote principals products and solutions.
• Promote principals' focus products to the account base's R&D engineers for design-in.
• Work closely with sales and marketing, to fulfill expectations of the assigned product lines, with regards to design-in and design-win activities.
• Keep up to date on customers design activities, through regular contacts with customers.
• Keep abreast of the latest innovation of relevance to customers' product focus, by attending relevant training, seminars and exhibitions.
• Conduct training/technical seminars to promote principals' products.
• Identify and cultivate potential new R&D accounts.
• Support field sales on technical inquiries, product cross reference and feedback quality issues to principals.
• Identify and develop reference designs for the local market.
• Any other related projects/duties which not indicated above will be assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Electronic, Electrical Engineering or any equivalent discipline
• Minimum 3 years R&D / Product Development and/or Field Applications engineering in an electronics component distribution industry
• Strong electronic (Analog/Digital) background.
• Effective communication skills, negotiation skills and presentation skills, proficiency in MS Powerpoint.
• Willing to travel for business trip if need to (SEA)
