Position Summary

We are seeking a talented Quantitative Researcher with a passion for solving complex optimization problems. This role is part of our specialized research team, working on challenging projects at the intersection of applied mathematics, algorithm development, and on-chain trading. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optimization, applied mathematics, and computational problem-solving.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement optimization algorithms tailored to real-time trading applications.
• Analyze and utilize on-chain trading data to design efficient and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate closely with trading teams to understand business requirements and deliver impactful insights.
• Research and apply mathematical techniques to solve novel problems in a high-frequency trading environment.
• Communicate findings and provide actionable recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• A PhD in Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Expertise in solving optimization problems, including pathfinding, resource allocation, or similar.
• Strong programming skills in Python and R.
• Experience working with large datasets and developing efficient computational algorithms.
• Familiarity with blockchain or decentralized finance (DeFi) is a plus but not required.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of convex optimization, numerical methods, and algorithmic development.
• Familiarity with trading systems, financial engineering, or related domains.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
