Job summary
A leading academic institution in Singapore is seeking a researcher to conduct theoretical research on new transmission techniques and protocols in wireless communication. Candidates must hold a PhD in electrical/computer engineering, with a strong publication record and familiarity with signal processing techniques. This position offers the opportunity to publish in top-tier IEEE journals.
Qualifications
- The applicant should hold a PhD degree in electrical/computer engineering with a thesis on wireless communication.
- Outstanding publication track record required (at least 3 IEEE transaction papers).
- Experience in signal processing and optimization techniques is necessary.

The job is aimed to conduct theoretical research on designing new transmission techniques and protocols, analyzing and optimizing their performances in wireless communication and sensing systems.
The expected deliverables of this job are to publish high-quality research papers in top-tier IEEE journals (such as IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications) and flagship IEEE conferences (such as IEEE ICC and IEEE Globecom).
- The applicant should hold a PhD degree in electrical/computer engineering and his/her PhD thesis is on wireless communication.
- He/she should have prior research experience in wireless communication systems, outstanding publication track record in related areas (at least 3 IEEE transaction papers published/accepted for publication), familiarity with signal processing and optimization techniques, and proficiency in both English writing and speaking.
- Open to Fixed Term Contract.
