Duties and Responsibilities
Business Operations
- Report to the F&B Director and works closely with Head Chef to meet desired performance and ensure high standards of service and food quality at all times
- Develop and implement front of house Standard Operating Procedures, guidelines, grooming, hygiene standards in the restaurant
- Provide procurement support in ordering food ingredients, equipment, etc; perform monthly inventory check
- Comply and ensure all the existing hygiene policies are strictly adhered daily; follow up closely on government rules and regulations
- Responsibility for the overall cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety standard in the restaurant premises
- Conduct regular review of operational procedures with improvement plans to the management
- Handle cashiering duties, daily sales report and petty cash claims if there is any; provide administrative duties and prepare necessary reports or paperwork to the Group
- Manage restaurant seating plans and reservations
- Act as a business owner to take charge in restaurant P&L. To monitor monthly cost incur and to drive revenue
Human Resources
- Recruit, select, drive and develop the restaurant team members
- Supervise front of house team in the performance of their duties in accordance with the policies and procedures
- Initiate and implement appropriate service standards. Demonstrate them by training and motivating the team while carrying out their duties
- Conduct orientation and training to the new employees
- Planning team duty roster and housekeeping schedule
- Foster and promote a cooperative working environment, friendly working culture by maximizing the productivity and boosting employee morale
Customer Satisfaction
- To ensure provide good quality food products for the guests and provide excellent services in achieving customers’ satisfaction
- Handling customers’ feedback. Investigate and resolve customer’s complaint in a prompt, courteous and professional manner with proper documentation and resolutions
Requirements
- At least more than 5 years working experience
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a “hands-on” experience
- Excellent time management and attention to details
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment with a proven track record of results
