The Operations Assistant will support the Global Financial Markets Operations team in ensuring accurate and timely processing, reconciliation, and reporting of financial market transactions. This role is ideal for candidates seeking hands‑on exposure in a fast‑paced financial operations environment.
The role provides exposure to a range of financial products, including:
- Cash Equities (single stocks and ETFs)
- Vanilla Options (including Barrier Options)
- Crypto‑related products such as Spot Crypto ETFs and OTC Vanilla Options with Crypto ETF underlyings
- Assist with daily trade processing and reconciliation for Cash Equities, Vanilla Options, Funds, and Crypto ETFs.
- Support accurate data entry, validation, and maintenance across internal systems.
- Identify discrepancies, breaks, or issues and elevate them to senior team members for resolution.
- Assist in preparing operational reports related to trades, positions, and settlements.
- Maintain proper documentation of operational processes and transaction records.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Global Financial Markets Operations team as required.
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Good attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Good analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of VBA and/or Power Automate is good to have.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of financial markets or investment products.
