A leading financial services company in Singapore is looking for a senior financial manager to lead business strategy initiatives, manage financial forecasting, and ensure compliance with regulations. Successful candidates will possess at least 10 years of accounting experience, exceptional leadership skills, and a degree or CPA/CA. Responsibilities include overseeing financial statements, developing budgets, and liaising with auditors and tax authorities. The candidate will also lead and develop the accounts team, driving internal control and process improvements.
Job Description:
Lead business strategy initiatives, including project feasibility assessments, due diligence reviews, and cost–benefit evaluations.
Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts, ensuring effective liquidity planning and control.
Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, consolidated group accounts, and tax matters, including coordination of statutory audits.
Develop annual budgets and present financial plans to Management and Shareholders.
Deliver monthly financial and bridge reports, analysing variances between budgeted and actual performance for Management and Shareholders.
Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including BCA, ACRA, IRAS, URA, and other relevant authorities.
Act as the primary liaison with external parties such as company secretaries, auditors, bankers, and tax authorities.
Establish and drive internal control frameworks and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Maintain a robust governance and control environment across the business.
Develop, review, and maintain accounting manuals, financial policies, and procedures.
Lead, motivate, and manage the Accounts team to achieve departmental objectives.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members, including identifying training needs and performance development plans.
Plan and conduct internal training programmes to enhance team capability.
Support and facilitate corporate initiatives such as Vision, Mission, and Core Values programmes, Enterprise 50 participation, and ISO-related activities.
Manage and oversee the consolidation of group financial accounts
Degree and above OR CPA, CA
Well versed in tax laws/requirements
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Minimum of 10 years’ relevant accounting experience with supervising experience
