Job summary

A leading telecommunications firm is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the APAC Accounting Team in Singapore. The role involves managing financial reporting and compliance, overseeing local statutory filings, and ensuring timely month-end processes. Candidates should have over 10 years of accounting experience, team management experience, and knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of accounting experience in multinational corporations or public accounting.
• 6+ years of staff management experience with a focus on development.
• Strong technical accounting skills with complex issue analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the APAC Accounting Team for accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure timely month-end closing and journal entries posting.
• Report APAC results to Global Controller with detailed commentary.
• Oversee preparation of local statutory financial statements.
• Manage relationship with statutory external auditors.
• Cooperate with Tax and Legal teams for compliance.
• Work on ad hoc projects with corporate stakeholders.
• Implement process improvements and automation.
• Foster a positive team culture aligned with company values.
