Job summary
A community service organization in Singapore is looking for a dedicated social worker to assist in casework intervention and provide counselling services. Applicants should have a Diploma in Social Work or any recognized degree and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities include conducting client assessments and coordinating community development activities. This position is initially based at Bukit Panjang Family Service Centre, with a future relocation to the Tengah Family Service Centre by the end of 2026.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Social Work or any recognised degree.
- Prior experience in social service sector is an advantage.
- Ability to work well in a team and meticulous to details.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing casework intervention and counselling services.
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments.
- Assist in coordinating group work and community development activities.
- Serve as a primary point of administrative contact.
- Maintain administrative system for record updates.

- Assist in providing casework intervention and counselling services, facilitate groups, conduct and implement structured programmes for the clients and their families.
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments to collect functional, environmental, psycho-social, financial, employment, housing, education and health information as appropriate to develop a creative and cost-effective case plan.
- Assist in coordinating group work and community development activities and programmes, supporting community events.
- Serve as the primary point of direct administrative contact, referral service and liaison with external stakeholders.
- Perform administrative functions and maintain administrative system for record updates.
- Diploma in Social Work
- Any recognised degree may also apply

This position will be based at our Bukit Panjang Family Service Centre initially, and is expected to relocate to our upcoming Tengah Family Service Centre towards the end of 2026.
