Job summary

Qualifications

What The Role Is

You lead the Training Support Branch operations and support advanced military education programmes to ensure seamless administration and delivery of high-quality training for Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) personnel.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Oversee daily operations of SAF Advanced Schools including finance, logistics, safety, facilities, security and course conduct
  • Review manpower requirements and provide strategic recommendations
  • Administer electronic Human Resource (e-HR) modules for courses and headquarters administrative matters
  • Plan course workplans and training programmes
  • Review curriculum designs for effectiveness with external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Maintain discipline, regimentation and safety culture across all personnel
  • Manage comprehensive financial support for all school operations and internal orders
Challenge(s)
  • Ensuring SAF policies, directions and requirements are effectively integrated into course curricula to maintain relevance and responsiveness
  • Collaborating with external SMEs to continuously review and develop challenging, relevant curricula for advanced military education>
What We Are Looking For
  • Education in Instructional Systems Design, Systems Thinking, Organisational Learning, or a related field
  • At least 6 years of work experience with leadership experiences in an operational department preferred
  • Certifications in coaching and facilitation methodologies is advantageous
  • Strong administrative and financial management capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
