Job summary

A leading accounting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to handle daily bookkeeping, assist with payroll, and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in accounting, is proficient in QuickBooks and Excel, and possesses strong organizational and communication skills. Being fluent in both English and Mandarin is essential. This role also involves managing office administration and coordinating with vendors and clients.

Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in accounting plus relevant experience.
  • Strong organization, accuracy, and communication abilities.
  • Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken/written).
  • Singaporean or Singapore PR holder is required.

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily bookkeeping: accounts payable/receivable, billing, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with payroll, CPF submissions, and liaising with external accountants.
  • Prepare financial reports such as monthly summaries and budgeting support.
  • Manage office administration: filing, document control, and meeting arrangements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams effectively.

Core responsibilities
  • Handle daily bookkeeping: accounts payable/receivable, billing, invoicing, expense claims, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with payroll, CPF submissions, simple tax-related filings, and liaising with external accountants or auditors.
  • Prepare basic financial reports such as monthly summaries, aging reports, and support budgeting or cashflow tracking.
Administrative duties
  • Manage office administration: filing, document control, office supplies, meeting arrangements, and travel bookings.
  • Support HR admin such as attendance records, staff claims, onboarding checklists, and maintaining personnel files.
  • Manage applications and documentation for Employment Pass (EP), Visa, and Permanent Residency (PR) for employees.
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams, including chasing payments and handling simple procurement.
Skills and qualifications
  • A diploma or degree in accounting, plus relevant experience.
  • Accountingknowledge, proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and Excel,
  • Strong organization, accuracy, and communication abilities.
  • Hardworking and hungry for learning, especially on the best practice via using AI to support AI business
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken/written)
