• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to guarantee the organization's supply chain is both cost-effective and reliable.
• Build and maintain solid relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to guarantee quality, delivery, and cost compliance.
• Stay current on industry trends, market circumstances, and emerging technology to find cost-cutting possibilities and process improvements.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks by putting in place effective risk management techniques and backup plans.
• Ensure that all procurement actions are compliant with applicable rules, industry standards, and corporate policy.
• Collaborate with technical and finance teams to create and manage budgets, as well as monitor and report on procurement functions on a regular basis.
