Job summary

A leading aerospace quality management company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure purchased parts meet aerospace standards. The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and at least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Location: Bedok
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Office Hours

About the Role

You will be the key link between the site, suppliers, and quality teams—ensuring purchased parts meet aerospace quality standards. This role involves problem‑solving, supplier engagement, and supporting quality improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend site meetings, Gemba walks, and daily standups to support supplier quality issues.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance metrics.
  • Review and present quality status and recovery plans to the leadership team.
  • Support urgent quality issues and non‑conforming purchased materials.
  • Raise supplier concerns to the DQR Management Team when needed for risk mitigation.
  • Review suspect materials with the clinic team and ensure proper containment actions.
  • Lead investigations for supplier‑related quality issues.
  • Support RTV/RMA processes with Procurement.
  • Perform assigned QN investigations (V1/V2).
  • Review and approve corrective actions from suppliers to ensure robust solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (CORE).
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred).
  • Knowledge of AS9100, Quality Management Systems, and quality tools.
  • Experience with CMM or NDT is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Able to prepare and generate quality reports.
