We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate grant-funded initiatives in the energy, chemicals, and sustainability sectors. This role involves managing multi-stakeholder projects that span industry partners, government agencies, and academic institutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of the energy and chemicals landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of grant-funded projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with grantor expectations and strategic sustainability goals.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables, while ensuring compliance with grant terms and institutional policies.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration across diverse stakeholders including grant agencies, industrial collaborators, research institutes, and internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including work plans, risk registers, and progress reports.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices in project governance and reporting.
  • Support grant proposal development, budgeting, and submission processes.
  • Monitor project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Qualification & Field of Study
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry and/or Chemical Engineering-related disciplines.
Min. Years of Experience
  • 5-10 years of project management experience, preferably in research, academic, or grant funded environment.<
Other Requirements (e.g. Skills, Competencies)
  • Proven experience managing multi-institutional, grant-funded projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex partnerships and competing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational and process management capabilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
