Job summary

A leading air conditioning company in Singapore is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the full cycle of ACMV projects. Candidates should have a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering and 5–8 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating procurement, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project is required, alongside excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of ACMV systems design, installation, testing & commissioning.

Job Requirement
  • Manage the full cycle of ACMV projects — from tender stage to project handover.

  • Develop project schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates.

  • Coordinate and plan project timelines, materials procurement, and manpower deployment.

  • Ensure works are executed according to drawings, specifications, and authority requirements (BCA, NEA, SCDF, etc.).

  • Supervise ACMV installation works (ducting, piping, AHU, FCU, chillers, ventilation systems, etc.).

  • Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and equipment submissions.

  • Prepare project budgets and track expenses and review variations, claims, and cost control reports.

  • Negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors for cost efficiency and ensure project profitability targets are met.

  • Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site problems efficiently plus ensure all works comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.

  • Conduct safety briefings and toolbox meetings and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, drawings, and material submissions.

  • Prepare project progress claims, final accounts, and handover documents.

Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant ACMV project management experience in the construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of ACMV systems design, installation, testing & commissioning.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiar with local codes and regulations (BCA, SS553, SS530, SS554, etc.).
