Job summary

A community-focused organization in Singapore is seeking an Outreach Program Manager to plan and implement programs that engage residents and manage volunteers. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in outreach program management. You will play a key role in building relationships with residents and agencies to ensure the success of programs.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Outreach program management experience.
• Immediate starter is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform outreach programs and interventions
• Conceptualize, propose and implement programs and activities to reach out or attract target groups
• Engage and manage volunteers in conducting programs and mentoring youths
• Cultivate a support network and build working relationships with relevant agencies and volunteers to ensure success of programs
• Facilitate intervention work for residents
• Build trust and instill positive values with residents
• Engage, mentor and counsel residents who reject formal activities so as to build rapport for future intervention
• Develop and maintain a trusting relationship with residents
• Build and engage social networks to identify opportunities for social services targeting youth in particular
• To undertake any other duties specified by Head of Home and/or senior management

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Outreach program management experience
