Head Chef

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and be able to lead and manage a team of chefs in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The Head Chef will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring high-quality dishes are served to customers. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Chef to showcase their skills and contribute to the success of our restaurant.

Salary: $1700/month

Location: Mecca, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation, cooking techniques, and portion control to ensure consistently high-quality dishes
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and monitoring performance
- Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new dishes or techniques to keep the menu fresh
- Monitor food costs and make changes as needed to maintain profitability
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints related to food quality or service

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Head Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique dishes that appeal to customers
- Ability to lead a team effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Strong communication skills for training staff and communicating with customers
- Excellent time management skills for multitasking and meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of health codes and regulations related to food handling/ preparation
