KEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award-winning planning, architecture, engineering, and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within KEO’s Project Management and Construction Management (PM/CM) Division as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. You will serve as a technical representative on stormwater, sanitary sewers, irrigation, and potable water-related design issues, field inspection disputes, quality management observation, and document review. You will be part of the project management team during the infrastructure construction phase of a large 9,000-unit master-planned community in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

1. Ability to advise the Project Management team and Client on technical issues regarding the interface with utility agencies, contractual compliance, and quality standards.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of wet utility design, procurement, construction means, methods, and codes.
3. Ability to oversee and comment on the Construction Supervisory review inspection on behalf of the Project Management team.
4. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
5. Mature relationship-building skills.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Hydraulic Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 15 years of experience in wet utilities design, quality control, and construction observation.

Previous experience within a consultancy is beneficial, and prior experience in the Gulf Region is advantageous.
