Your Job Functions (Duties & Responsibilities)

• Handling tax compliance of AEW and its Saudi based affiliates - some by self, some through ‘service level agreements' (SLA) and some through external tax advisor
• (If required) Preparing and submitting zakat return, VAT return, WHT return, objection and appeal letter of AEW and its Saudi based affiliates
• Dealing with ZATCA (tax authority) and GSTC (tax courts) and their respective electronic portals
• Assisting Reporting Manager and CFO in carrying out tax planning, implementing tax strategies and addressing tax implications of day-to-day transactions and projects
• Handling tax litigations, tax appeals, and tax objections
• Handling tax matters of bidding projects
• Oversee zakat and tax matters of AEW and its project companies

Requirements

5+ years of broad-based accounting/reporting and zakat/tax experience, including minimum 3 years zakat/tax experience preferably in utilities industry.
