A leading energy company in Al Khobar seeks a Workshop Supervisor to oversee workshop operations, including maintenance of tubular running equipment and team management. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least 6 years of TRS workshop experience. The role requires proficiency in equipment management and team training in a fast-paced environment.
Job Brief:
Ensure efficient workshop operations by preparing equipment mobilization checklists, overseeing safety protocols, supervising tests, and managing documentation. Develop and lead teams.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for monitoring the overall maintenance of the tubular running equipment in the workshop.
• Responsible for preparing a maintenance plan and preventive maintenance program for all tubular running equipment including critical equipment as per OEM recommended procedures
• Responsible for ensuring that adequate spare parts are available and maintained in the casing store and ensuring that systems are in place to maintain adequate stock for service delivery.
• Responsible for validating the delivery ticket, arranging for the loading, and dispatch of the equipment to the rig and from the rig as a backload when the job is completed
• Provides technical advice/support to the crew on any equipment problems while on the job.
• Organize an in-house training program for workshop service technicians to equip them with the required competency in carrying out inspection, maintenance, repair, and calibration activities in the workshop.
• As part of management, he is responsible for the welfare of all workshop personnel.
• Effectively utilize the relevant sections of the equipment supply system.
• Full management of the workshop
• Follow up workshop crew evaluation and prepare leave schedule.
• Attend the function test before dispatching the equipment from the workshop for each job/equipment.
• Responsible for providing all documentation related to TRS equipment
• Tracking of all transactions related to workshop employees/company vehicles/all workshop requirements.
• Developing teams in line with competency and training programs, training needs to be identified and implemented.
• Inform operations supervisor of any shortage of equipment.
