Summary

Within the mission, vision and values of Saudi Arabian Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs, the physician is responsible for performing procedural and consultative duties as assigned by the Department Chairman

Education/Qualifications Required:
  1. Basic medical degree from recognized institution
  2. Post-qualification certification
    • Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
      • USA: The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
      • Canada: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certificate (RCPS-C)
      • UK and Ireland: GMC/CCST Specialist Register
      • Australia and New Zealand: Fellowship from the Royal College (FRACP)
      • Western Europe: Equivalent certification to the above
Experience Post-Qualifications:
  • Minimum Three (3) years after board/equivalent certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand and France (DES).
  • Minimum Five (10) years after board/equivalent certification in Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Netherlands, Greece and France (DIS).
License:

Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Reporting Radiology and/or NM Exams according to his/her qualification, privileges and subspecialty.
  • Adhere to the turn‑around time of the department when reporting the assigned exams.
  • Actively participates in QI activities
  • Carry out on-calls as required by the department
  • Participates in education and in formal education programmed of the Hospital.
  • Reports any violations of the rules and regulations of the department to the Chairman
  • Participate in the Department Educational activities.
  • Participate in training Residents, audit their work, and encourage them to produce research work and publication.
  • Serve in Hospital Committees as appointed by Chairman or Hospital Director.
