Job Description

At SLS Red Sea, a Waiter/Server plays a key role in delivering an elevated and dynamic dining experience that is bold, playful, and personal. Reporting to the F&B Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing attentive, high-quality food and beverage service while supporting the overall operation of the outlet. The Waiter/Server ensures smooth day-to-day service, contributes to guest satisfaction, and helps drive revenue through upselling and expert product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent, professional service of all food and beverage offerings in accordance with hotel SOPs and brand standards.
  • Ensure a smooth flow of daily operations and support the Supervisor in meeting service quality and guest satisfaction goals.
  • Act as a liaison between the kitchen and the service team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor, anticipating guest needs and ensuring a warm, engaging, and efficient dining experience.
  • Confidently handle guest inquiries, comments, or complaints with a solutions-focused and proactive approach.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards across the dining area and service stations.
  • Use POS systems (e.g., Micros) efficiently for order-taking and billing processes; handle cash and credit transactions in line with company procedures.
  • Monitor product quality and communicate any inconsistencies to the Supervisor or Chef.
  • Consistently apply upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.
  • Assist in daily and weekly inventory checks and ensure proper storage and stock levels of operating equipment and supplies.
  • Support the bar operations when required.
  • Attend pre-shift briefings, team meetings, and training sessions as required.
  • Deliver highly personalized service to all guests, including VIPs, ensuring each guest feels recognized and valued.
Additional Information
  1. Participate in the Quality improvement process.
  2. Maintain a close relationship with other department Managers/heads.
  3. Work closely with the hotel team either in finance or other departments to ensure smooth communications are maintained.
