Job summary

A leading engineering services provider in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to perform testing and commissioning of electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of power systems and safety regulations. This role involves collaboration with project engineers to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in testing and commissioning (SEC approval preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of protection relays and high-voltage equipment.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and risk assessment protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing and commissioning of electrical equipment including transformers.
  • Carry out testing of substation components such as Current Transformers.
  • Review and validate technical documents and commissioning plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Prepare technical submittals and detailed test reports.

  • Carry out testing of substation components such as Current Transformers (CT), Voltage Transformers (VT), Circuit Breakers (CBs), and Busbars.
  • Review and validate technical documents, testing procedures, and commissioning plans.
  • Conduct system validation, troubleshooting, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare technical submittals, detailed test reports, and system performance documentation.
  • Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth and timely execution of commissioning tasks.
