Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Tamheer Trainee in Agriculture Engineering (Saudi National) to join our team.

In this role, you will be part of leading professional engineering, construction management, and project management teams working on multiple projects.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Learn and perform various Agriculture Engineering duties by applying basic engineering techniques within one discipline.
  • Assist in designing and planning public parks landscaping projects, including site analysis and layout design for softscape and irrigation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Saudi laws and regulations regarding Agriculture.
  • Assist in producing working drawings and detailing for landscape projects, creating BOQ and quantity surveys for tendering, and reviewing construction documents.
  • Learn to select appropriate materials for public parks, including site amenities such as lighting, benches, and tables.
  • Participate in a structured rotational program covering Project Controls, Procurement, and various Engineering disciplines.
  • Learn the design and analysis of irrigation and drainage systems, and the use of GIS and CAD tools for mapping and planning.
  • Gain knowledge in sustainable agriculture and water conservation, understanding project life cycles.
  • Collaborate across engineering and environmental teams.
  • Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Currently enrolled in an Agriculture Engineering program at an accredited college or university, with little to no prior experience.
  • Proficiency in English (Speaking and Writing) is required.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Knowledge of CAD and other engineering-related software is preferred.
