Job summary

A luxury hospitality brand located in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Steward to ensure efficient operation of food & beverage equipment while upholding high hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will have a secondary education, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and be fluent in English. Responsibilities include managing cleaning equipment, adhering to food safety standards, and maintaining high service levels. As Steward, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Soak, pre-wash and wash all food & beverage operating equipment according to the standards set by the chief steward
  • Keep dishwashing machine in a clean and functional state, reporting any apparent defect to supervisor.
  • Keep dishwashing ware and all cleaning equipment clean, tidy and hygienic at all times.
  • Ensures all equipment and working area are kept clean and in good working condition.
  • Has a complete understanding of, and adhere to the company’s policy relating to fire, hygiene and safety.
  • Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
  • Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications
  • Secondary school education or equivalent and at least 1 year experience in a similar setting. Vocational / technical certificationfrom a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
  • Technical skills include familiar with food and hygiene codes, and various hotel systems including operation knowledge of dish washing machine.
  • Fluent in English
