STAFF NURSE III
In charge of providing comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and established professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provides total patient care as assigned according to core patient-care requirements and evidence-based plans.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care; participates in discharge planning for each patient.
- Works with Case Management to achieve patient-care goals and reduce length of stay and waiting times.
- Records all relevant information accurately, promptly, and in a compliant manner.
- Notifies Head Nurse or designee of equipment failures, safety concerns, and supply shortages; monitors patient waiting areas for unusual events.
- Contributes to department and system-wide cost-effectiveness savings; exercises prudent use of staff, equipment, and materials.
- Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participates in ongoing education, training, and professional development as appropriate.
- Fulfills other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing is required.
- Experience: No previous experience required (on-the-job training provided).
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse licensure from the home country is required; Saudi Compensations for Health Specialties Licensure is required.
- Specialized training (e.g., midwifery or certified nursing aide) is preferred.
