We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Technical Office Engineers in the fields of Architecture, Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering to join our growing team in Khobar. The successful candidates will be responsible for coordinating technical documentation, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. This role is essential for supporting site execution and bridging the gap between design and construction.

Skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and as-built drawings.
  • Analyze project specifications and ensure technical documentation is in line with contract requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants, project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project workflow.
  • Support the planning and scheduling team by providing technical input for work schedules, procurement, and submissions.
  • Participate in value engineering and propose alternatives where applicable.
  • Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and participate in technical audits.
  • Provide technical solutions and respond to design-related issues raised during construction.
  • Track and manage variation orders, technical approvals, and other correspondence with consultants and clients.
  • Attend technical meetings and support project close-out documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architectural, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (depending on specialty).
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant technical office experience in the construction industry, preferably on large-scale or complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international codes (SBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, ACI, NEC, etc. as relevant to discipline).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office; experience with Primavera P6, Navisworks, or BIM tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is highly preferred.
