Job Purpose
IFS Techno-Functional Consultants are valued members of our team who provide both consultancy and day-to-day support to our end users in different business areas.
Responsibilities
- Follow all relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Demonstrate an innovative vision for future ERP development and excellent team-leading skills,
- Participates in gathering business requirements through various techniques and prototyping business solutions.
- Capture and develop user requirements into specifications and create technical solution documents.
- Provided technical support for ERP systems in different functional areas ( MRO, Finance, supply chain, custom reporting and events, lobbies).
- Review the user permission sets and optimize it based on business needs.
- Establish functional or system standards to address operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints.
- Oracle SQL report writing.
- Deploy reports using IFS Application Quick Report navigator.
- High skills in creating quick reports and lobby elements.
- Business Reporter (BA), Power BI.
- Develop SQL code against the Oracle database, creating database views, tables, and IALs (Information Access Layers).
- Develop an understanding of Oracle PL/SQL for the use of API and database trigger development.
- Create training material that is end-user friendly and conduct internal and customer training sessions on IFS best practices and business processes.
- Verify IFS ERP system architecture's stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability.
- Communicate with employees and departments to understand specific business requirements.
- Provide system administration, customization, and configuration of IFS application and subsequent application built-in or interfaces.
- Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.
- Prepare and manage user accounts and train system users in system operation.
Experience
- A minimum of (4-6) years' experience as IFS consultant in relevant functional areas.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or any specialized related field.
Skills and Abilities
- Skills in SQL and PLSQL (Microsoft or Oracle).
- Programming skills (SQL) statements.
- A good computing technical background.
- Project Management skills are a plus.
- High Communication ability and interest in the details of the business.
- Advance reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Languages
- Arabic.
- English is a must.
