Job description
Overview:
  • Reliability Strategy: Develop, implement, and continuously improve Predictive (Pd.M.) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans, leveraging reliability tools like RCM and FMECA to maximize mechanical equipment availability.
  • Condition Monitoring: Serve as a technical advisor in Pd.M., provide detailed analysis of equipment performance trends, utilizing mainly Vibration Analysis and Oil Analysis results to accurately predict and diagnose mechanical faults.
  • Technical Support: Act as the primary technical advisor to Maintenance and Operations. Provide specialized input on statistical analysis, equipment selection, design, and final inspection of new installations to ensure inherent reliability is built into new assets.
  • Failure Elimination: Lead and conduct detailed studies (RCA/RCFA) and investigations to eliminate chronic issues, repetitive failures, and 'bad actors' affecting rotating and stationary assets. Track recommendations through to effective implementation.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct Life Data Analysis and Downtime Analysis to calculate and monitor all Reliability KPIs (MTBF, MTTF) and prepare accurate downtime reports.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with Maintenance and Operations to review maintenance strategies and actively participate in periodic meetings to discuss chronic issues and solution implementation.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education: University graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Mechanical equipment maintenance, with at least 3-5 years operating as a dedicated Reliability Engineer within a heavy industrial setting (e.g., Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power Generation).
  • Specialized Knowledge: Proven ability to manage and interpret Lubrication Oil Analysis results and provide technical advice on lubrication management.
  • Reliability Expertise: In-depth knowledge of maintenance practices, standards, and procedures, including expertise in applying RCM, RCA, FMEA, and Condition Monitoring methodologies.
  • Technical Support Skills: Experience providing technical expertise on equipment design, selection, and performance degradation studies.
  • Systems: Functional knowledge of CMMS (SAP), and proficiency in the MS Office suite for reporting and analysis.
