Job description
Objective

The Specialist, Global Tax & Compliance Reporting is responsible for ensuring that the company adheres to both global and local tax regulations and filing requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of tax accounting principles and the ability to navigate complex tax laws across different countries. Additionally, staying updated on all regulations related to ZATCA law in the portal.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ensure the timely preparation of regulatory compliance filings, including VAT (D+20), WHT, (D+10), CIF (D+90) Zakat (D+120), and TP filing (D+120) to ensure 0$ delay fine.
  • Ability to support in conducting tax technical research by analysing and interpreting relevant tax laws, regulations, cases, and guidelines, and ensuring that appropriate stakeholders are updated accordingly.
  • Assist in ensuring the timely development of zakat and tax-related systems in response to changes in laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to new projects and support the leadership in executing strategic business decisions.
  • Provide support and follow-up on tax audits of group companies.
  • Manage, standardize, and maintain transfer pricing documentation.
  • Oversee compliance with local, national, and international tax laws, which includes preparing and filing tax returns, managing tax audits, and ensuring timely payment of taxes.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to obtain required information for tax compliance and reporting, while offering tax-related guidance and support to other teams.

Prepare accurate and timely tax reports for internal and external stakeholders, including financial statement reporting for taxes, managing tax provisions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Qualifications and Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or any equivalent.

Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar positions.
  • Experience working at a Big4 (PwC, KPMG, EY, or Deloitte).
Professional Certifications

SOCPA Certificate - Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants.
