Job summary

A leading materials company in Yanbu is seeking a Specialist in Fire & Loss Prevention. You will lead the emergency response team, develop emergency plans, and ensure safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience and strong leadership skills. Certification in NFPA or OSHA is preferred. This role provides an opportunity to make a significant impact in emergency preparedness and response.

Qualifications

  • Preferably certified in NFPA, OSHA, or as an Incident Commander.
  • 5 years’ experience in Emergency coordination, planning and Safety field.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and updates the Emergency Preparedness & Response Plan.
  • Ensures EP&R are communicated to all teams and employees.
  • Leads the emergency team in responding to normal situations, emergencies and disasters.
  • Develops and maintains the fire prevention plan.

Advanced Metal Industries and Toho Titanium (ATTM), is a private company operating within the materials sector focusing on specialty chemicals.

An exciting opportunity is available in AMICTOHO TITANIUM METAL Company for Specialist, Fire & Loss Prevention in Yanbu.

Lead and command the ERT, prepare and develop Fire and Emergency Response Plan for ATTM site including responding to hazard material transportation incidents. Provide guidance to ERT and ensure relevant area teams are prepared, trained, and equipped with the necessary safety requirements. Develop and maintain the Emergency Command Centre to acceptable level as conditioned in the emergency plan.

You will be responsible for:

  • Develops and updates the Emergency Preparedness & Response Plan.
  • Ensures EP&R are communicated to all teams and employees.
  • Ensures EP&R plan are implemented and tested periodically.
  • Ensures EP&R Plan work requirements are adequate.
  • Manages the command centre and ensures it is equipped the necessary requirement.
  • Leads the emergency team in responding to normal situations, emergencies and disasters.
  • Ensures active communication among all teams and other support parties.
  • Establishes and maintains proactive and effective relationship with relevant regulatory, professional and industry bodies and corporate functions and represents the Site/Company in these relationships Report required information to local environmental authorities.
  • Develops and maintains the fire prevention plan.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Environmental Management System.
  • Ensures Fire Protection System is reliable and upgraded regularly.
  • Ensures ERT coverage is on duty and fully aware of plant status and conditions.
  • Ensures ERT members are trained and prepared.
  • Manages the tools for containing emergencies are available and properly maintained.
  • Conducts reliability tests among the ERT members and ensures membership are active and adequate.
  • Preferably certified in NFPA, OSHA, or as an Incident Commander.
  • 5 years’ experiencein Emergency coordination, planning and Safety field.
