JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on development experience, a solid understanding of IT service management processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Configure and develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and Script Includes.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
- Customize ServiceNow forms, fields, tables, and CMDB structures.
- Support implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, SecOps, or CSM.
- Perform platform upgrades, patching, and version testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance problems.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and development standards.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
- Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Proven experience with ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer, and Automation.
- Hands‑on experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Good understanding of ITIL processes and service management concepts.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- ServiceNow CSA, CAD, or CIS certifications.
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Exposure to ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, or Event Management.
- Experience in managed services or large enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of CMDB data models and best practices.
