Job description

The Senior Specialist, Intelligent Automation (RPA) is responsible for identifying, designing, developing, and deploying scalable automation solutions across all business verticals. Operating in an SAP-enabled environment, the role ensures that automation initiatives align with organizational goals, drive operational efficiency, and reduce manual effort across finance, supply chain, production, sales, HR, and support functions. This position plays a key role in the company’s digital transformation journey by leveraging RPA, OCR, AI/ML, and integration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units and IT teams to analyze processes and identify automation opportunities across procurement, sales, finance, production, HR, QA/QC, and warehousing.
  • Design end-to-end RPA solutions, including process assessment, design, development, deployment, and support, using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Power Automate.
  • Map “as-is” and “to-be” process states, translating them into technical designs and bot workflows.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust bots with minimal downtime and high reliability.
  • Apply functional knowledge in SAP modules (FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, HR) to design seamless RPA integrations with enterprise systems.
  • Conduct process feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and prepare documentation (PDDs and SDDs).
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and audit requirements for all automation solutions.
  • Monitor bot performance, conduct maintenance, and troubleshoot exceptions.
  • Support post-deployment hyper-care, ensuring SLA adherence and business continuity.
  • Continuously improve deployed bots based on feedback and performance data.
  • Collaborate with SAP consultants, data engineers, and infrastructure teams for integration and data consistency.
  • Assist in user training, change management, and knowledge transfer.
  • Promote automation awareness across departments and encourage a citizen developer culture where appropriate.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in IT or Digital roles, with at least 4 years in RPA solution development and delivery.
  • Proven expertise in SAP-integrated environments (FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, HR).
  • Hands-on proficiency with RPA tools: UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with process intelligence tools (Signavio, Celonis, ARIS) is desirable.
  • Exposure to AI/ML, OCR (ABBYY, Tesseract), and workflow automation platforms.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, VBA) and APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Strong skills in process analysis, workflow design, and automation lifecycle management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
