Join Qiddiya Investment Company as a Senior Smart Tech Manager, where you will play a crucial role in pioneering the integration of smart technologies into our city development initiatives. This position involves shaping the technological landscape of the future, ensuring our smart city projects not only meet but exceed modern standards of sustainability, efficiency, and user engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of Smart Cities, ICT and security integration projects
- Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple disciplines to ensure effective project integration and implementation.
- Manage the master system integrator lifecycle to effectively oversee the design, build, and operation/transfer of smart city services.
- Ensure quality control of all project deliverables, facilitating delivery and review process to meet requirements compliance and standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams, QIC smart city unit and consultants to assess implications of systems integration and smart service deployment.
- Provide strategic input and project updates to district leadership and QIC smart city unit.
- To participate in Smart City Working Group and Technical Design Working Group meetings.
- Manage the complexities of complex urban development project delivery, including procurement and RFP, regulatory compliance, community engagement, and communication management.
- Develop and maintain project documentation and progress reports to see that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or relevant Master's degree is preferred.
- 9-12+ years of relevant experience in smart city project management or technology integration, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Strong understanding of the master system integrator life cycle and familiarity with systems integration and smart service deployment.
- Deep understanding of smart city frameworks, IoT, and related technologies.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-disciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong project management skills, with a preference for PMP or equivalent certification.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with an ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools to assess and report on project performance.
- Passion for urban innovation and sustainability trends is a plus.
