Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Architecture or Civil Engineering graduate for a project management role in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in site management, preferably in retail construction, and strong skills in CAD software and communication. Responsibilities include overseeing inspections, managing junior staff, and liaising with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of experience, with minimum 5 years in managing site activities.
• Experience in high volume retail building projects preferred.
• Ability to read, edit, modify and understand construction plans.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Project Preparation Phase: Edit and modify drawings and documents to ensure data integrity. Review / prepare drawings and documentation as directed by the Construction Manager. Initiate and execute engineering change process.
• Project Construction Phase: Make daily and necessary inspections to ensure project quality. Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project. Manage and develop junior members of the setting out team depending on experience. Assist the Construction Manager / Site Agents with site records, method statements and permits as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Architecture, Civil Engineering graduates is a must.
• 7 to 10 years of experience with minimum 5 years in managing site activities.
• Prior experience in a high volume Retail buildings environment strongly preferred.
• Wide knowledge with the use of computer.
• Skill and experienced usage of 2D,3D CAD software, preferably Solid Works; as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office, Primavera or Microsoft project.
• Ability to read, edit, modify and understand construction plans.
• Good communication skills.
